Overview
This tour can either start in Addis Ababa or in Arba Minch. You will discover the South Omo Valley, home to many diverse and distinct tribal groups as well as spectacular nature and scenery. Relax while you spot birds in the Rift Valley lakes and get up close and interact with the local tribes.

Southwestern Ethiopia
Itinerary
Day 01 — Fly or drive to Arba Minch. Enroute visit the Dorze people. Overnight in Arba Minch.
Day 02 — Lake Chamo by boat to see birds, hippos, and crocodiles. Drive to Jinka (240km). Enroute visit a Konso village and the Ari tribe. Overnight in Jinka.
Day 03 — AM excursion to visit the Mursi tribe whose women wear laborers (circular clay plates) in their lower lip and ear lobes. PM visit Jinka town’s daily open market and drive to Turmi. Overnight in Turmi.
Day 04 — AM excursion to Omorate (150km) to visit the Geleb (Dasanech) tribe. PM visit in Turmi the villages of the archetypal South Omo residents the Hamer people. Overnight in Turmi.
Day 05 — AM excursion to Murulle (150km) to visit the Karo people who are considered the masters of body painting. PM drive to Konso and enroute visit the Arebore tribe. Overnight in Arba Minch.
Day 06 — After breakfast drive northeast to Langanoo. On our way we will visit the fish market in Hawassa and a Rastafarian village. Overnight near Langanoo Lake.
Day 07 — After breakfast visit Abyata Shalla National Park then drive back to Addis Ababa along the Rift Valley lakes.
